In the city centre of Hoofddorp, the closest town to airport Schiphol-Amsterdam in the Netherlands this new group of buildings was built. The buildings consist of offices and living apartments. For the cladding of slate for this windy area close to the coast of the North Sea the architect has chosen the Moinho’s Multicolour. Various sizes were used like the 35×25 and 40×25 slates for wall cladding from the Moinho quarry. Extensive testing was conducted by the official institutes guaranteeing a long life fixing. The Natural stone cladding in Multicolour gives the modern towers an excellent look. It’s location at the entrance of the city makes it a landmark. Fixing of the wall cladding was made by screws and nails.
